1455 Summer Fest Panel Announcement: Comic Creation: The Art of that Wild Market
July 15th 3pm-4pm EST

 Creators Chad Lewis and David Wilson will introduce general comic production, then compare how various markets, like bi-monthly comics, the young adult market and stand-alone graphic novels, modify this storytelling process to meet market and audience needs. Specifically, Chad Lewis will discuss his experience working with Boom! Entertainment on King Kong, Planet of the Apes and Wizard Beach while David Wilson will talk about his experiences, his ongoing series The Everyday and his current project working with Harper Collins on the YA graphic novel Play Like a Girl. Moderator, Jessi Lewis, writer, poet and comic enthusiast, will try to control her excitement and pose questions as the experts discuss the wild world of professional comic creation.
